HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Why I sometimes repeat myself

by | Jun 15, 2018 | Blog

I posted something on Facebook recently, and a person commented with something like:

“I’ve heard this from you before, but still a good post”

Thanks (I think?)

He was right – I do repeat the same advice, stories and phrases from time to time.

That’s bound to happen when you release as much content as I do, but there’s another reason for this parroting:

When I repeat something, it’s because it’s important for coaches to know and I want it to sink in.

For example, I’m constantly advising coaches to not deal with “freeple” and “cheaple”. I don’t want them to waste time on those who want everything for free or to pay very little for it, which unfortunately is a large number of people online.

I coined the phrase “You can’t coach on an empty stomach” and have probably used it hundreds of times over the years. Since you can’t stay in business without clients and revenue, I’ll be using it thousands of more times in the future to make sure it sinks into people’s brains.

I’m not the only person who uses repetition to reinforce something important. Someone I follow closely (and have bought a number of products and programs from) repeats the same things often too.

Do I complain about it?

No! It reminds me of something that I may have forgotten, and have never taken offence to it (or passively aggressively commented about it on Facebook).

In my experience, those who nitpick over repetition should put down their scorecards and get busy getting their messages out into the world.

Anyways, I’ve been repeating a lot lately about calls that I’m doing with coaches who want to get more clients.

If you’d like to grab one of the spots with me, hop over to the same link I’ve been repeating over and over again:
