I flipped open my Facebook this morning and noticed something about my newsfeed:
A lot of the posts were from clients of mine!
Checking my inbox, I see the same thing – emails sent from my clients out to their lists (I like to be on their lists to keep an eye on them).
Is there something strange going on?
Not really.
Since I teach my clients how to get their messages out into the world, I expect to see them everywhere I turn.
It’s exciting, because I know that if I’m seeing them, lots of other people out in the marketplace are noticing them too.
Take my current 10 Clients In 90 Days group that’s running. We just finished week #4, and I’ve seen some crazy transformations from the coaches in it.
One of those coaches, Omozua, is showing up everywhere I am online, and posting some great stuff. Another coach, Marlene, is now showing up and posting engaging content every day (she was hesitant about posting before we started working together).
I’ve noticed a big change in the confidence of all the coaches in it after just a few short weeks.
Here’s the thing:
It’s a noisy online space, and if you aren’t proactively putting your content out there you won’t get noticed.
How much content you release depends on your platform, but if Facebook is where your potential clients are I recommend at least three posts per day (and more if you have a Facebook group, which isn’t a bad idea).
I also think that more coaches should be building their email lists and emailing them daily, plus getting out to be interviewed consistently on podcasts.
If all of this seems like a lot of work, it’s because it is.
If someone is trying to sell you a magic funnel or system that they say requires no work, run away …
