HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

When you’re ghosted by a prospect

by | Dec 19, 2018 | Blog

“Ghosting” is a term that’s usually connected to the dating world.

It’s when one person in a relationship (or a fling) suddenly stops all communication with the other person without notice or explanation.

It’s apparently spread to the corporate world too.

I read an article that a high number of job applicants are ghosting potential employers in the United Kingdom.

They go through the interview process and the salary negotiations, and then they’re hired … but they go MIA and stop returning calls from their new employer before their first day.

It’s happening more often in the US too (the theory being that the strong economy means that employees can behave like that).

But ghosting isn’t restricted to the dating and corporate worlds.

Unfortunately, coaches have to deal with flaky potential clients ghosting them as well.

The prospect gives the “ok” to start working together, but then drops off the face of the earth before the payment is made and first call is scheduled.

It’s a frustrating situation, but it doesn’t have to happen.

In the live training that I’m hosting with Sean Kemp tomorrow, he’ll be showing how you can get a steady flow of warm leads coming in.

Think of it as ghost-proofing your coaching business.

It’s called “Creeper To Close: How To Convert Profile Views To Sales Calls”, and you can register for it here:
