When I look back at the growth of my online business over the years, I see that a big reason for the success that I’ve had is because of one decision I made in 2014:
To launch my podcast.
My show, Natural Born Coaches, put my name on the map and got me connected with clients, customers, and joint venture partners … it opened doors to opportunities I wouldn’t have otherwise had.
Lots of people go the DIY route when starting a podcast, and they get flooded with advice … some of it good, but a lot of it bad and confusing. This could be why so many shows die before the hosts get to reap the benefits of podcasting.
Although podcast coaching isn’t the main focus of my business, I have worked 1:1 with a number of clients to get their shows out into the world. It’s not something that I advertise on my website or anything, and it’s mostly been by word-of-mouth referral, but I enjoy it and love seeing more entrepreneurs benefitting from podcasting.
