Here’s a common myth in the coaching world:
You need a lot of money to become a successful coach!
I know that’s not true, from first-hand experience as I started my coaching business on a shoestring budget back in 2014 and almost 10 years later I’m still here.
As crazy as it sounds, there are actually advantages to starting with no money …
For one, it forces you to roll up your sleeves and do things yourself instead of relying on others by outsourcing it.
Take content creation, for example.
Since I couldn’t hire anyone to help with mine as a rookie, I had to show up every day and consistently get my message out to the world myself.
I got good at content creation since I HAD to get good at it – no one was going to swoop in and do it for me.
If I had come in and spent tens of thousands of dollars outsourcing that it wouldn’t have allowed me to build up important habits that serve me well today.
