“Passion alone can’t cut it. For passion to survive it needs structure. A why without how has little probability of success.”
- Simon Sinek
“Start With Why”
With the big ball recently dropping to usher in the new year, a lot of business owners have been thinking about their “why”.
They’ve cracked open their journals, and filled the pages with their ideas, their hopes and their dreams.
That’s great – but like Simon Sinek said, that’s only half of the equation.
The other (very important) part is knowing the “how”.
It’s like being excited for a road trip to a destination that’s 500 miles away …
It doesn’t matter that you have passion for the trip and a car with a full tank of gas – if you don’t have a map/GPS (the how), you won’t get there.
This time of year it seems like everyone’s passion is through the roof. They’re excited for the new year, and proclaiming that this will be the one when it all comes together for them.
But how many of them will be just as excited in March, or by July?
Passion has a way of fading when you don’t know what to do.
Coaches can help with the how part of an entrepreneur’s journey.
I know, I know – some will say that that coaches have nothing to do with the “how”.
They’ll yell, “That’s consulting!!!”
In my mind, coaching is helping a client get from Point A to Point B.
Simple as that.
Michael Praver (from Business Coach Funding) understands this, and he has a front row seat to see it in action every single day.
In my opinion, every business coach should be partnering with Michael to have him as a resource for their clients.
On Thursday he’s going to walk coaches through his system in a live training.
If you have an hour to commit to it, it could be the most important hour that you spend for your coaching business in 2019.
