While building an online following, it can feel like you’re shouting into the wind.
I’ve talked with more than one coach who admitted that they feel this way with their communities, IE: Facebook groups.
They post something, but get little interaction or engagement from it, and hear nothing but the sound of crickets.
They start to wonder if it’s worth the effort.
I’m a big believer in communities, whether it be Facebook groups or others.
But there are things you should be doing to bump up the engagement.
Last month I invited Shelly Yorgesen into my Coaching Jungle group to host a “Fingertip Networking Event”.
It was an opportunity for us to engage with the members of the group, and for those members to get to know each other.
Although I already knew some who took part in it, many were ones who had never interacted in the group before.
The result was new connections being made, business being done, and more action happening in The Coaching Jungle.
If you’d like to see the same happen in your community, I’m talking about the Fingertip Networking Event in the May issue of Secret Coach Club. I’m also going to include the transcript of an interview that I did with Shelly about it and that’s only available to SCC subscribers.
