A cool story for fans of Dale Carnegie’s book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”:
The original title was supposed to be “How to Make Friends and Influence People”, but when the cover was being designed they discovered that they couldn’t fit the whole title on it, and it would have to be shortened by one letter.
With not much time to make a decision, Carnegie decided to change “Make” to “Win” friends, and the publisher wasn’t happy (they actually thought it was a horrible decision).
85 years later, the book continues to be a huge best seller and is widely considered to be one of the most important books ever written!
So that was a good decision by Carnegie, and if you’re a coach looking to grow your business it would be a good decision to check out my upcoming “Construct Your Dream Coaching Business” program.
