When choosing your joint venture partners, it’s important to have criteria to use.
For me, I have three simple ones:
1) Their offer must be relevant for coaches, since those are my people.
2) Their offer has to be valuable and give the results that they claim (since I’m attaching my name to it).
3) Their offer can’t be something too similar to other joint ventures that I’ve done recently …
(So if Trojan condoms comes a knocking, I’ll probably say “no”)
I judge all potential partners against these, and it’s made things go very smoothly over the last few years.
