I waste a lot of time when I make certain posts/comments on social media:
One type is about the Toronto Blue Jays – I’ve been a big Jays fan for my whole life, and whenever I post about the team I get a bunch of fans crawling out of the woodwork to attack me for my opinions (especially this season, which hasn’t been very good for them)
The other ones are about politics – yes, some of my political posts have gone viral … they’ve been great for engagement (and for a shot of dopamine), but they rarely translate into new business and they’ve been a huge time and energy suck for me.
As an entrepreneur, you have to make sure your time is spent effectively!
