Last week I saw an interesting post from a friend on social media.
He talked about how he just moved onto a block with houses that were worth in the $1 million to $2.6 million range, and how conversations with his neighbours were completely different than before.
In his old neighbourhood, talk centered around the economy, inflation, and other gripes.
But in his new neighbourhood, the conversations were mostly about saving and leveraging time, and various personal development strategies.
He noticed that the conversations became, in his words, “more about opportunity and gratitude rather than what’s wrong with things …”
I notice a similar trend when I talk with high-achievers, like Tom Krol.
Tom and I talk every Monday, and I’ve been impressed by his energy and attitude (it’s infectious)
He’s helped coaches generate a ton of additional revenue, so it’s always fun to hear what he has to share!
