HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Self-fulfilling prophesies and webinars

by | Jan 28, 2023 | Blog

The words you use when you talk to yourself, or with others, are more important than you might think.

In “The Biggest Bluff” by Maria Konnikova, the author details her attempt at going from being a poker newbie to the World Series of Poker champion in the span of just one year.

During a session with coach Jared Tendler (a past guest of my podcast and a great guy), she commented that she “hoped” she would be able to do something …

Before she continued, Jared called her on it (poker pun intended) and highlighted the danger of saying the word “hope” in that situation.

It’s a weak word, and sets the person up for failure before they’ve even attempted something.

Like another smart guy, Yoda, once said: “Do or do not, there is not try”.

Or Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right”.

It reminds me of the entrepreneurs who claim that “webinars are dead” before going out and doing one.

They usually don’t get the results they were hoping for, and it was a self-fulfilling prophesy!

Simone Vincenzi told me that he didn’t make a single sale from his first 24 webinars (!) but he stuck with them, testing and tweaking as needed until he hit on the right formula.

Now, after hosting over 600 webinars of his own and also helping hundreds of clients build profitable ones, he’s sharing his secrets in his Webinar Conversion Accelerator.

It’s only open until tomorrow night at midnight, and you can reserve your place in it for just $30 by going here:
