Last week a client of mine reached out for advice.
She messed up with emails to her list, and mistakenly sent out three emails in one day that were supposed to go out over three days, and she wanted to know what to do.
Should she send out a 4th email that day to apologize?
I told her I wouldn’t worry about it.
I suggested holding off on sending a 4th/apology email that day …
She could make a joke about the mistake in the next day’s email if she wanted to, but it wasn’t a big deal.
Entrepreneurs put too much pressure on themselves, and think they have to be perfect.
I’ve had my share of typos and miscues in my emails, but it’s not the end of the world.
When you’re out there taking action, mistakes are pretty much guaranteed!
Don’t overthink it, take the filter off, and put your message out there unapologetically …
I do the same every month in my Secret Coach Club newsletter, and the September issue is now available.
