Running an online coaching business doesn’t always feel “real”.
It’s not like a traditional bricks and mortar business, where you have a physical office, equipment, employees and all that jazz.
You buy a domain and you’re off to the races in minutes – you can even run it from your dining room table in your PJs and slippers if you want.
The low barrier to entry means that a lot of online entrepreneurs are starting their businesses without taking the right steps to protect themselves legally.
And there are plenty who are further down the path and have achieved success but are still vulnerable in this regard.
Valerie Del Grosso is known as “The Friendly Lawyer”, and she helps online entrepreneurs protect their behinds while they go about building their businesses.
I met her (virtually) a few years back, have interviewed her a few times, and have watched as she’s helped those doing business online sleep better at night.
Since this stuff is important (and not talked about nearly enough), I’ve asked her to do a live training for my community next week where she can share her expertise and advice.
