Podcasts are, in the words of Will Ferrell’s villain Mugatu in Zoolander, “so hot right now”
Everyone is talking about them …
People who couldn’t tell a podcast from a zucchini a few years ago are suddenly bopping around town with earphones, eagerly consuming their favourite shows.
My eight year old son knows what they are. On the other end of the spectrum, senior citizens are a rising percentage of podcast listeners – which shows how mainstream they’ve become.
More entrepreneurs are realizing this trend and launching their own shows to help grow their businesses.
One of the things that I do is work 1:1 with a handle of aspiring podcasters to get their shows launched.
I hold their hands and walk them through the whole process, so they don’t have to try to figure it out by themselves.
After releasing 492 episodes of my own show, I’ve discovered what works and what doesn’t, so I can shortcut things for my clients.
I only work with one or two podcast clients at a time, and usually only by referral (you won’t even find mention of the service on my website).
Since I just launched someone’s new show yesterday, I have room to work 1:1 with one more new podcaster now.
It’ll take us anywhere from two weeks to four weeks to get it done, depending on how quickly you want it to be launched and out there in the world.
If you’re interested in the spot, send me a message and tell me what you’re looking to do for your podcast. First-come, first-served …
