I’ve heard advice floating around that you have to “nurture” relationships with your marketplace for a certain period of time before you can offer your services to those people.
– “Email your list at least 50 times before you even attempt to sell something”
– “Don’t try to sell anything for at least 3 months. Just give value!”
– “Don’t put any call-to-actions out there for x amount of time”
Etc …
To that, I say “baloney”!
If you have a service that can help people, why would you make them wait weeks or months before you show them how you can help them further?
I’m all for giving value – but you can give it and the also show the person how they can work with you further to get results.
There’s nothing wrong with that … you’re in business, and you need paying clients/customers to remain in business.
Don’t be afraid to offer your services.
Speaking of which, here’s my CTA:
I’m opening up my next group program in January, and if you’re a coach who wants to kill it in 2017 you want one of those spots.
