Over the years, I’ve been a participant in a number of mastermind groups (both in-person and virtual).
I can’t say that I’ve found one that I’ve been really happy with.
It’s not that I didn’t meet some good people …
But what usually happened is the meetings didn’t have much of a structure, and there was too much “shooting the breeze” and chatting instead of focusing on the important stuff.
And with every group, the numbers dwindled with each meeting. There was good attendance at the first one, but in time it was down to just me, the organizer, and maybe one other member.
I’m not the only person to experience this with masterminds – I’ve spoken with plenty of others who have had the same thing happen to them.
So I do things differently with The Coaching Jungle Mastermind:
First off, I only accept serious, motivated coaches into it (no wishy-washy “wantreprenerus”)
The focus remains on moving each members’ business forward, with goal-setting and accountability.
And there’s a structure for the calls, to ensure that every member gets value from the group (I play timekeeper to make sure the calls and hot seat times stay on track).
I put a lot of work into planning and selecting the members for The Coaching Jungle Mastermind, and I’m serious about building something that delivers the most results possible.
