The subject line for an old email I sent out was “More Than One Way To Skin A Cat”.
Anyone with common sense or who took time to read the email would see that I wasn’t referring to literally skinning a cat, but rather about there being multiple ways to build a successful coaching business.
However, one subscriber was deeply offended at the subject line and replied that she was unsubscribing because of it.
(I guess you could say that she was “fur”ious …)
Ah well.
The good thing is I’m seeing more people (including yours truly) who are tired of the crazy/easily-offended politically correct crowd and are refusing to walk on pins and needles any longer.
For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction, and plenty of folks are saying “enough with this nonsense”.
Stop holding back, put your content out unapologetically and don’t waste a minute worrying about those who don’t like it.
