HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Marc goes to the movies

by | Aug 7, 2022 | Blog

I’m a movie buff, and I try to get out to the theatre as often as possible.

Nothing against streaming, I get that it’s convenient, but you can’t beat the popcorn and whole experience of going out to a movie.

This week I saw two flicks I’ve had on my list to see this summer, “Elvis” and “Nope”, and I’ll put on my “Siskel & Ebert” (or “Siskel & Roeper”) hat to give my quick reviews:

“Elvis” was great, I’d give it a 9/10. I might be biased since I’m a fan of The King, but I was surprised at how well Austin Butler portrayed Elvis, and how they were able to cram such a big life into a couple of hours. Well worth the watch, IMHO …

“Nope” is a murkier call. I liked it, and would give it a 7.5/10, but I recommended it to a friend who hated it and even walked out early. Of Jordan Peele’s movies, I’d say that it’s sandwiched between being better than “Us”, but not as good as “Get Out”

Anyways, the reason I was able to get out and watch a few movies in the middle of the day this week is because I have a good team helping me with my business, including PodAssist – who handles my podcast’s editing, production, and all of that stuff.

Without their help, I would be slaving away in front of a laptop trying to get everything done for the show!

If you’d like a helping hand with running your existing podcast, or with launching a new one, check out PodAssist. They currently have a few openings to help new clients, so book a call with Matt to see if it’s a fit (make sure to mention my name to get a special bonus for people in my community):
