There’s scientific evidence that playing games benefits adults as well as kids.
Games spark creativity and innovative thinking. They cause people to bond. And most important for coaches – they open up people’s sense of possibility.
Sadly, most people are too busy “adulting” – worrying about bills or stressing over projects.
And they get locked up. Stuck. Static. They may not even be able to see the vision for life that you can see for them as a coach. But there is a very smart solution to that…
I was talking with coach Adam Gilad, the founder of The Higher Game Transformational Games Mastery Circles the other day, and he explained why games are so powerful.
According to Adam, they’re so effective because:
1) The psycho-physiological impact of playing – the rewards, predictions, feedback and levelling-up all dump dopamine into the brain to make it feel good. That’s why people are eager to play over and over.
2) Creativity and possibility are unlocked because when you play your ego-identity steps aside – which “tees up” potential clients for you. Suddenly, even the most closed or resistant person might look at you and say, “this coach… can really help me live the vision I now see.”
Adam is such a powerful advocate in what games can do that he’s created, after over a decade of opening up people through these games, something called “Life Mastery Circles” that allow coaches to build strong relationships with people in their local market and get a steady flow of coaching clients at the same time.
And here’s the kicker – and why some coaches are calling this a “dream come true.”
His method increases coaches’ visibility and stature in their local communities, while bringing in additional revenue ($4,000-$10,000 per month, not including all the new clients that result from it).
