I won’t lie to you, today’s email isn’t easy to write.
It’s not that I’m pouring my soul out here or sharing any deep, dark secret today.
The email is more difficult than usual because we’re away for the weekend and my brain is in mini-vacation mode (we’re in Halifax, Nova Scotia to watch some Buskers and to do family stuff).
Here’s what pushed me to write this:
I’ve been doing daily emails since April 12th of last year – that’s 480 days of consistent emailing. I love doing them and they’ve allowed me to connect (and work with) a lot of people I wouldn’t have otherwise.
I recognize the value of doing daily emails and have hard-wired my brain to just do it, even if I’m not feeling it on some days.
You’re not always going to enjoy everything that you do with your business …
Despite the gurus who play it off like every day is a bag of fun and the manifestation experts who advise you to shoot positive rainbows out of your behind 24/7, there are going to be some days that you just don’t feel like it.
It’s on those days that you have to be strong and show discipline. Remember why you’re doing what you’re doing, and just get it done.
