It’s a common Hollywood trope to have robots rise up and take over the world.

We haven’t gotten to that point in real life, but there’s some freaky stuff going on.

For example, I recently read that a Buddhist temple in Japan is using a robot to preach to its people and to help grow the religion (the thing looks pretty realistic).

Taking it even further, there’s a religion called “The Way Of The Future” that worships technology and a robot deity.

Creepy stuff …

While I’m not a fan of worshipping robot gods, I don’t think that all technology is bad.

Take Facebook Messenger Bots, for example.

Messenger bots are a great way to grow one’s business. They make it easier to connect with potential clients and customers, and they have a crazy high open rate for messages (around 80%).

Bots help you connect with people who are already on Facebook, and they keep your business running like a well-oiled machine while you’re off doing other stuff.
