This month we’re celebrating the four year anniversary of the “Natural Born Coaches” podcast.
As they say, time flies when you’re having fun.
Since November 2014, almost 600 episodes have been released and the show has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times.
It was one of the earliest podcasts exclusively for coaches, and not to blow my own horn, but I’ve been told by a lot of coaches that it’s helped them with their businesses.
I’m proud of what the show has become and it’s exceeded my wildest hopes and dreams when I first launched it.
But one thing that I’ve resisted all this time is having a sponsor for it.
(Full disclosure: I had a sponsor for a few episodes in the early days to dip my toes in the water, but 99% of the time I’ve sponsored the show myself to sell my own offerings).
I’m going to be changing things up, and will be bringing on an exclusive sponsor for “Natural Born Coaches”.
It won’t be a case of multiple sponsors for every episode – just one sponsor with two ads (pre-roll and post-roll) every time.
Another bonus is that we’ll be editing all past episodes to include the sponsor’s ads. A lot of people listen to the older episodes, so this will mean a ton of additional exposure for the sponsor being featured in those 578 additional episodes.
