HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

If you have to eat an elephant …

by | Aug 23, 2017 | Blog

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember that old saying:

“The best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time”!

This applies to anything you’re doing for your coaching business. Break it into bite-sized chunks to avoid that feeling of overwhelm.

Take writing a book for example. After several false starts and times when I pushed my book to the back burner, I’ve gotten serious working on it the last week and a half.

It’s going to be about 40,000 words, which can be a daunting number when I think about it, but I took the approach where I write a minimum 500 words per day and it’s been (relatively) smooth sailing.

I’ve now written over 13,000 words since Saturday, August 12th. What’s been happening is I hit the 500 goal/day, and then I keep going (and often get over 1000 words/day).

The goal of finishing the book is much more manageable this way, and I’m now 1/3 through the first draft.

It doesn’t matter what your goal is, if you break it into smaller chunks instead of getting freaked out about the big picture you’ll do much better!

In case you missed it, yesterday I announced the opening up of my next 10 Clients In 90 Days group program.

It starts the week of September 11th, and if 10 new coaching clients sounds good to you go here:
