Last year, there was a stretch of time when all I saw on social media were posts about the GDPR thing.
(GDPR is what the European Union introduced to force businesses to protect consumers’ private data).
It was the talk of the town for awhile, and it seemed like every second post was from frantic online entrepreneurs trying to make sense of it and ensure they were protected from heavy GDPR fines for non-compliance.
Things have died down about GDPR a year later.
Now, every second post on Facebook is about “Game of Thrones” or “Avengers: End Game” …
But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other things that could trip up online entrepreneurs.
As certain as death and taxes, there will be more regulations as governments try to bring order to the Wild West which is the online world.
And you don’t want to be caught flatfooted when they do.
