Yesterday I had Craig Duswalt (former right-hand man for Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses) as my guest on the Natural Born Coaches podcast, and he told a surprising story about his time on tour with the band:
While you’d think that being on the road with the biggest rock band in the world was all sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll, he talked about how the band treated it like a business, and showed a surprising amount of discipline while on tour!
He saw Slash constantly practicing guitar riffs, and Axl Rose was doing vocal exercises in the shower before and after every performance to stay on the top of his game.
Coaches have to stay on the top of their games as well, and I only want to help those who are serious and ready to do what they have to do to be successful.
