Someone who’s looking for love just bought a billboard on Main Street in my city.
I drove by it the other day, and saw that she’s looking for someone 42-55 to spend her life with (props to her for having the initiative to go this route).
She may have signalled her intentions very clearly, but most people needing help in their lives aren’t so bold.
Someone looking for a coach probably isn’t going to buy a billboard.
They probably aren’t even going to put it out there online by posting “Hey, I need a ____ coach, can anyone refer a good one?”
I’m not saying that it never happens, but it’s not common …
So you have to pay attention.
Keep your radar up for posts that people make, and comments on other posts.
Those things hold clues to who needs help with what, but only if you stay alert for them.
Once you see something, don’t be afraid to put yourself forward.
Don’t let the little voice in your head tell you that you’re being too “salesy” or too “forward”.
You’ve gotta sell to help.
Since people aren’t always raising their hands when they need a coach, I pack actionable advice for getting clients into every issue of my Secret Coach Club print newsletter. It won’t help you find the love of your life, but it will help you get more coaching clients. Grab yours here:
