Warren Sapp, Hall of Fame football player, got a chunk taken out of him by a shark while he was lobstering in the Florida Keys recently.
Seriously – he reached down to grab a lobster, and he was bitten by a four foot long shark.
Although he didn’t go through the trials and tribulations of the cast of Sharknado, that’s still a pretty freaky thing.
Unfortunately, Warren Sapp isn’t the only person being eaten by sharks:
Coaches deal with sharks every day.
Sharks are the people online promising guaranteed, instant riches (“7 figures in 30 days!”) if you buy their program or service, which isn’t cheap.
I’m sure your Facebook feed is filled with them – I know mine is.
They make it so sound so easy.
AND they have pics of crisp $100 bills to prove how awesome they are!
I often wonder if anyone falls for that, but then I think about it and realize that if the sharks are swimming in those waters, they must be getting grub (or they wouldn’t be wasting their time there.)
I’m not saying that you can’t do very well with coaching. But it’s going to take a lot of blood, sweat and tears.
“Work just 5 minutes a day while in your hot tub” probably isn’t going to cut it, despite what the sharks tell you.
As time has gone on, I’ve realized that I don’t want to work with people expecting instant riches.
I want to work with the grinders who realize that success takes hard work. They’re the ones who put their heads down and get to work …
But those clients have gotten some great results.
I’ve worked with a number of them already, and am looking for others. If it sounds like you, check this out:
