I once told a client on a coaching call that he was being a “Harlem Globetrotter”.
My client is great at what he does. He’s been at it a long time and he knows what he’s talking about … but he was overcomplicating things.
Like the Globetrotters, who perform trick plays, shoot from all kinds of distances and angles on the court, and use crazy props to make fancy shots, my client was making things more difficult instead of going for the simple layup and the two points.
He’s not alone, I see this happening a lot in the coaching world – there’s a sense that if things are too simple they can’t possibly work.
(I place a lot of the blame on the gurus who paint a complicated picture to justify the price of their expensive magic funnels and systems)
If you’re looking for a simple, non-complicated way to get more coaching clients, Gabe Arnold’s “B.E.S.T” system could be the answer.
Gabe is going over it in detail during a free training he’s doing tomorrow, and he’s also giving some great bonuses to those who register. Save your seat for it here:
