There’s a guy on the other side of the world who comments on my girlfriend’s social media often, professing his love for her with some really strange stuff.
Not to knock Romeo for trying (he does have a great imagination and he’s quite the wordsmith), but he’s coming across as desperate in his pursuit, with comments like:
“I will contain you with my heart, and because you love my soul,
because you planted roses with my pasta and watered them with your perfume”
(Mmmmm, pasta …..)
And:
“I want to navigate your body
I go sailing and I get lost and it breaks all my news
And I live in you, my love
And plant my trees in your heart”
And this little diddy:
“You entered my heart
So my freedom is no longer in my dictionary
Your love in me has become erupting like a volcano”
And finally, this one (feel free to give it a try yourself if you’re single and ready to mingle):
“See life with you near me
He showed me a plant waiting for a drop of dew
From the rain of the sky of your love
To inhabit my papers”
And here I thought I was her #1 fan!
While I haven’t seen any coaches act that thirsty for clients, there are plenty who are showing desperation while chasing prospects.
There’s a better way to go about building your coaching business, and to learn how check out the live Masterclass that David Newman is hosting on Tuesday.
