I’ve been thinking about decisions a lot lately.
It’s probably because I’m reading Killing Kennedy by Bill O’Reilly, and I’m at the part where JFK is making some pretty big decisions around The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
(Some of it sounds eerily similar to what’s going on with North Korea at the moment)
Kennedy had a great quote:
“There are risks and costs to action. But they are far less than the long range risks of comfortable inaction”
In business, if you don’t make a decision you’re actually making a decision – to do nothing (and that can be much worse than taking action).
Not all of my decisions have worked out, but a lot of them have – and I’m grateful that I made them.
My first big one was starting my coaching business almost four years ago.
Then it was starting my podcast in late 2014 (521 episodes released so far, and it helped kicked my business to the next level)
Then it was starting my Facebook group, The Coaching Jungle (7500 members and growing every day)
Then it was launching my print newsletter, Secret Coach Club, back in March – which is letting me help more coaches make an impact in the world.
If you know you’ve been sitting on the fence for too long, it’s time to make a decision.
It’s either comfortable inaction, or action.
I know which I choose, and I hope you do the same.
A good action to take is joining Secret Coach Club. The October issue will lay out my complete system for building a strong relationship with your email list (which turns into clients and customers).
