When I interviewed Steve Chandler on my podcast yesterday, he used an interesting phrase:
He recommended that coaches be “curious detectives”
If there ever was a super power for coaches, it’s the ability to be sincerely curious.
Ask probing questions, and then actually listen to the answers (rather than thinking about what you’ll say next).
Think of the person on the other side of the screen as a human being and not just a dollar sign …
Crazy concept!
Steve’s been in the coaching world for about 30 years now, and the reason he’s been called “The Godfather of Coaching” is that he’s a master at the curiosity thing.
He sprinkles this concept throughout his teachings in the Coaching Prosperity School, and you can currently enroll for just 10% of what coaches have paid for it when it was live and in-person.
