Avoiding that “deer caught in headlights” look

I’m a fan of coaches keeping their offers simple.

If you have 178 different ways to work with people, you’ll confuse the market.

Overload your prospects with choices and they’ll get that “deer caught in headlights” look and move on.

You shouldn’t need a big spreadsheet to track your offers – my goal is to be able to fit mine on a little yellow sticky note, and if I can’t do that anymore it’s a sign that I need to tighten things up and trim the fat.

Ironically, having fewer options will usually lead to more sales. But …

There’s a problem if you have just one offer!

Lately I’ve been talking with a lot of coaches who only have a 1:1 package and nothing else, so if that’s not a fit then they lose opportunities.
