In my travels, I often come across podcast hosts who want to monetize their shows.
They’re usually looking for that magical sponsor, who will throw boatloads of cash at them for the honour of being mentioned on air.
But big sponsors aren’t easy to get.
Leo Kanell was telling me a story of how he helped a podcaster monetize his show, with a way that doesn’t include sponsors.
That host, Phillip Rowson, is a single father of two who partnered with Leo’s company to bring in an additional $2000/week from his show.
While that’s not a million bucks, it is over $100,000/year and nothing to sneeze at.
