A pet peeve of mine is when I invite someone to be a guest on my podcast, but that person doesn’t promote or share their episode after it’s released.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had over 700 guests on my show and the vast majority have spread the word about their interviews …
But there have been times when a guest did nothing after release, not even a quick “like” or share on their social media.
I’m not saying they should be spending tons of time and energy with it, but doing a little something isn’t a bad idea – when you’re given a platform on a podcast, it gets your name and message out to people who haven’t heard of you before so a quick promotion says thanks for that.
Anyways, whenever I’m a guest on a show I make sure my network knows about it upon release by sharing it around. And I leave my more recent interviews up on a “Media” page on my website.
