“Down the road” is a dangerous phrase:
– “I’ll raise my fees ‘down the road'”
– “I’ll start that group program ‘down the road'”
– “I’ll launch that podcast ‘down the road'”
– “I’ll reach out to _____ ‘down the road'”
Delaying things is usually because of fear.
The frustrating thing is you don’t have to do it.
One of the regrets that I have for my coaching business is not starting my group program sooner (I was coaching for about a year before I opened up my first one).
If I could go back in time, I would start the group program right out of the gate (same goes for my podcast, which I waited almost a year to launch).
I don’t make that mistake anymore. If an idea, or inspiration strikes, I jumped on it.
No waiting around.
