If you can hack a burrito, you can hack your business

I read that some guy found a way to hack the Chipotle menu.

He did an experiment where he bought 35 burritos, and tried different orders to maximize the end result.

He asked for both kinds of rice and he got 93% more rice. He asked for both beans and got 92% more beans.
He asked for half of one meat and half of another, which got him an average of 54% more meat. He kept trying these and other things …

Through that trial and error, he discovered tricks that led to the creation of the ultimate burrito: one that weighs 86% more than the usual burrito (at no additional cost!).

It sounds silly for someone to go through this amount of effort to improve their burrito, but there’s a powerful lesson for entrepreneurs in here.

Just as you can hack a burrito, you can also hack your business.

By constantly testing things, you’ll learn what works and what doesn’t. Like:

– What time of day is the best to post on the social media networks that you do business on?

– How long should your discovery calls be? 15 minutes? 30 minutes? An hour?

– Which type of posts generate the most engagement? Which ones lead to crickets chirping?

– How much should you charge for your 1:1 programs? Your group programs?

– How long should your programs be to get the maximum results for your clients?

You get the idea.

If you aren’t already testing and tracking things you’re doing, take some inspiration from Burrito Guy and get on it. You could increase your business by 86% (or more).
