It’s easier to make it in business if you love what you’re doing.
It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, there’s going to be ups and downs. And if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, it’ll be hard to stick it out during those rough times.
Doing stuff you love means you’re not swimming upstream.
For example, tonight I’m being recorded for an interview on a podcast called The Biz Geek, with Regina Drury. Regina interviews “geeky” business owners and talks about business and geeky subjects with them.
Here’s a confession: I’m a closet geek. I grew up with Star Wars and comics, so who knows what we’ll talk about? The new Star Wars movie coming out in December? Maybe we’ll talk about Superman or superhero movies …
It doesn’t matter how the conversation goes, I can “get my geek on” if required (you won’t find me at nerd conventions, and I don’t like Star Trek, so I do have my limits)
Since I enjoy this stuff, and I love being interviewed on podcasts, I’m going to have a lot of fun with this tonight.
Some may shudder in disgust at the thought of “working” on a Sunday night, but I don’t consider this “work”!
Yesterday I posted on Facebook a simple little way to decide on what you should be doing. Ask yourself:

The answer to this question will show you the path you should be taking in your business.
