I did calls for my two 10 Clients in 90 Days groups yesterday, even though it was Memorial Day.
That may have seemed like a mistake. Being a big holiday in the US, and the unofficial start to summer, would anyone actually show up???
They did.
All of my clients skipped their BBQs, camping, the beach, and fun in the sun to work on growing their coaching businesses.
One of my clients, Jeff, got three new clients in the last week because he’s always “on the ball” with his business (and implements what I teach).
Another client, Tom, is in the UK – and the call went from midnight to 1 am this morning for him!
That’s commitment …
Not to begrudge anyone who took time off for the long weekend. But the kinds of coaches who are attracted to what I teach are the ones who are willing to do whatever it takes to be successful.
Most people say that they’ll do anything to be successful, until it’s decision time. Then it gets harder to choose working on their businesses instead of doing whatever else presents itself.
It reminds me of a story that I read about Eddie Van Halen, When Eddie was a teenager, his brother always tried to get him to go out with him and his friends on Friday nights.
But Eddie wanted to become the greatest guitarist in the world, so he always declined and chose to stay home and practice. Hours later, when Eddie’s brother got back home, he saw Eddie sitting in the same spot on his bed and practicing.
Sure enough, Eddie is considered the greatest guitarist of all time by many.
My clients are those Eddie Van Halen types who are willing to stay up late on a long holiday weekend to get better.
The same goes with my Secret Coach Club subscribers. They’re the type to read over each issue multiple times, highlighter and pen in hand making notes, and putting what they learn into action right away.
If this sounds like you, check out what we’re doing. The deadline for the June issue is tomorrow night:
