When I first started my coaching business, I was throwing a lot of spaghetti (or something else) at the wall to see what would stick.
Coming from almost a decade of success in the real estate business, I thought to myself; “This coaching thing couldn’t be that hard … could it?”
The answer: it could.
I tried everything under the sun in my first six months in business. I hired some coaches (with mixed results) so I just kept throwing that darn spaghetti at the wall.
And I beat my head against said wall at the same time.
So rookie coach Marc was sitting there with a dirty wall and a throbbing headache, wondering what the heck to do next.
Over the next two days, I’m doing something with two people that I wish I’d known back when I was starting as a coach: Halley Razz Gray and Hank Avink.
Both have their own special superpowers …
Halley is a pro at helping coaches strip down the expenses flying out of their business, while increasing what’s coming in.

And Hank’s a really cool guy who’s rocking it in the coaching world. He’s done 6-figure months (I hesitate to say “6 figures” since it has such a sleazy connotation nowadays, but he did it and has my respect for it).
Hank has a cool database system that has allowed him to scale his business up while maintaining a great work/life balance. His days usually end by 5 pm so he can enjoy the rest of the day with this family!
