HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Screw being average

by | Dec 3, 2016 | Blog

I was up bright and early this morning, reading a book that I’m now recommending to all my clients.

It’s called The 12 Week Year (by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington), and it’s a good one.

It’s for people who don’t want to be average.

It argues that annualized goal planning is the wrong way to go, since we often get off track before the year is out and can’t recover.

The authors say you should split your year into 12 week segments, so you’re doing sprints instead of a long marathon.

I’ve just laid out my first “12 week year” and I’ll keep you updated on how I make out …

Speaking of not being content with average, I’ll let you know about something else.

I recently had the opportunity to do some work with Seth Humphrey and Michael Watkins – two guys who have a passion for personal development, mindset, and fitness.

They just launched a podcast around those things, and it’s called Screw Average Club.

It’s not for the faint of heart or sensitive people. They take their filters off during every show and say what they think.
