HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

How Sheriff Rick saved his town (and how you can save yours)

by | Nov 13, 2016 | Blog

There’s an episode from The Walking Dead (in season 6, I think) that shows the importance of having a good funnel.

There’s a giant horde of zombies walking towards our heroes’ town, which has been fortified with a wall that isn’t meant to withstand thousands of zombies walking into it.

Sheriff Rick and his crew know that they have to divert the zombies away from the town, or they’ll walk right through the rickety wall and eat everyone’s brains.

So they get into action.

They use a car and a motorcycle to cause a commotion, and lead the zombies as if they’re at the head of a parade (in case you don’t know zombies, they’re attracted to sound and will usually blindly follow whatever sounds they hear).

The zombies are funnelled away from the town, and everyone is safe … for now.

Rick used a successful funnel to achieve his goals: directing people (well, dead people) to go in the direction that he wanted them to go.

I’m not suggesting that you think of your potential clients as zombies – that would be bad business.

But you’ll need a funnel for the good of your business.

Since funnels are so important, I’m hosting a live workshop with funnel expert Maggie Mae in a few days. This Tuesday, at 2 pm EST, Maggie will be teaching about the funnels that work for coaches, and she’ll be building a discovery call funnel live for you to watch.
