Here’s a guy with a net worth of almost $3 Billion, who is set for life regardless of what happens to the economy, but who hit the road for late night meetings with people who were buying $5 cups of coffee.
The result?
Starbucks didn’t just ride the recession out – it actually grew during that time.
It ended up in that position because its leader was willing to go that extra mile.
I try to keep stories like this in mind as I build my business.
Any time I slack off, I think of people like Howard Schultz, and I push myself to go a little further. That’s how successful businesses are grown.
Those are the types of coaches that I work with as my clients, too.
