I put a poll up in The Coaching Jungle over the weekend, asking members “How long have you had your coaching business?” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheCoachingJungle/permalink/1131737483547502/)
(I always combine the words “coaching” and “business”, since I believe that the two of them go hand-in-hand)
Here are the results from this completely unscientific poll:
3 to 5 years: 38%
Under 1 year: 32%
6-10 years: 14%
Over 10 years: 11%
Not open yet: 5%
I noticed an interesting thing from this:
Some of the coaches who have been at it for over 10 years are keen learners who are still investing in their businesses, even after they’ve “made it” …
Leslie Flowers is one of them, and she was a fun guest to have on my podcast because of the conversation (we dove deep into Think and Grow Rich)
That’s a trait of successful people – they don’t rest on their laurels, and they continually learn and grow.
So I’ll ask you: how long have YOU had your coaching business?
