I got an email from a coach/subscriber yesterday. She said:
“I wanted to let you know that I have been a subscriber for many months now and I really love your new letters. I subscribe to some others as well but I find yours is most informative especially when learning the stuff coaches really don’t talk about. You don’t sugar coat shit and I super respect that, and your examples and analogies are top-notch”
She’s right – lately I have been opening up and just saying that I think.
Part of it comes from a whole bunch of people talking to coaches in the same voice, with the same sales pitches, and (often) the same BS.
You know what I mean …
Speaking your mind doesn’t go over well with everyone (see my email from earlier this week, when I shared that someone got insulted when I had the nerve to suggest that coaches have to invest in their businesses) but my aim isn’t to not offend …
It’s to help you grow your coaching business.
(And if you should decide to work with me, great … I am in business after all, and I kind of like having a roof over my head, food on the table, and all that fun stuff.)
If I’m not challenging you, or I “play it safe” out of fear of hurting feelings, that’s not going to help you.
It’s just wasting both of our time.
If you know that you’ve been playing it too safe with your coaching business, I’d like to help you get it rolling. Shoot me a message and I’ll see if I can help.
