HELPING COACHES GET MORE CLIENTS SINCE 2014!

Lessons from the Chairman of the Board

I’m reading a book about Frank Sinatra (“Frank:The Voice” by James Kaplan), and we can learn some lessons from his life.

Even when he was a poor young boy, Sinatra knew that he wanted to be famous.

He had chutzpah, audacity, swagger … whatever you want to call it.

But most important, he had the right mindset which helped him eventually become one of the most famous people in the world.

When he was a boy working dirty, crappy jobs, he spent every cent on nice clothes. He was determined to “dress the part” (even though this was back around the time of The Great Depression, and no one his age was doing that.)

The other thing he did was model his idol, Bing Crosby, and make a commitment to himself that he was going to be bigger than him … even though it would have seemed crazy at the time.

It’s that kind of mindset that coaches should have too.

You see, the toughest person to convince that you’ll be successful isn’t anyone else … it’s you.

Once you convince yourself, you’ll get there.

I had Mark Low on the podcast today, and he was sharing how people can get a confident mindset. Mark is a partner of John Assaraf (from “The Secret”) at NeuroGym, and they do a virtual event called The Brain-a-Thon which is designed to get your brain geared for success …

I took part in it a few years back, and it had a big impact on my mindset.

The next free Brain-a-Thon virtual event is coming up soon, and here’s the link to register:

You may not be able to sing like Frank, but you can achieve your dreams too
