I went to the see The Angry Birds Movie this weekend with my son (it’s a great movie for families, by the way.)
The film got me thinking about the subject of anger.
Anger gets a bad wrap nowadays. We’re told to always be happy, positive, and never angry, since anger is a negative emotion.
But I believe that anger has its purposes. Anger, if channeled properly, can be an effective motivator for change.
My life and business only got back on track once I was angry and had enough of the status quo. I powered through the obstacles and built my coaching business, and I admit that anger was part of the driving force.
Everyone who knows me knows that I’m a big fan of Star Wars …
In the climatic battle of the original Star Wars trilogy, Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker defeated Darth Vader and the Emperor (the two baddest dudes in the galaxy) after he got angry.
In the previous films, he was a fearful young boy who ended up getting his hand chopped off by Vader. But in Jedi, Vader taunted him by threatening his sister, and Luke got really angry …
When he channelled his anger properly, he was the one chopping off Vader’s hand, and he restored peace to the galaxy!
What are you angry about?
– Are you not making the money that you want from your coaching?
– Do you feel burned out and exhausted from being pulled in every which direction?
– Are you chasing potential clients so much that pretty soon you feel like you’ll be paying them to hire you?
You’re damn right you should be angry!
If you’re angry enough to make a change in your life, check out my next group coaching program which starts soon ->

Getting angry worked for Luke Skywalker, and it can work for you, too.
