Not sure what “voice” to speak with on social media and in emails to your list?
It’s easy:
Talk like you’d normally talk when you’re away from the keyboard.
If you don’t usually curse like a sailor, don’t drop F-bombs with every 2nd word online (it’ll sound silly).
If you don’t usually talk with flowery language “in real life”, don’t talk like that online.
If you don’t use words that require a dictionary to be understood when you’re away from Facebook, then don’t talk that way online.
Pretend you’re sitting down with your connections and talking with them like a real person.
That’s especially important in the age of AI …
You’re at a pub, or a BBQ, or having lunch at the table with them.
Talk to them like they’re people, not prospects, and see what that does …
