Rumour has it that the current owners of Myspace, Chris and Tim Vanderhook, plan to relaunch the former #1 social media platform.
They’re apparently interested in having something without the addictive algorithm of current social media platforms …
It won’t be the first attempted relaunch of Myspace, but it’ll be interesting to see if they can make it work.
Regardless, building your entire business on any social media platform is risky – you’re building on rented land that might get yanked away, or go the way of the Dodo bird (like Myspace did)
