A stat that blows my mind is that just 4% of people who buy online programs actually finish them.
That means that 96% allow them to sit on their virtual shelf collecting virtual dust, even though they paid good money for them.
I’m not sure how accurate this stat is – personally I thought it would have been a little higher, but I can’t say that I’m surprised that few people actually finish their online programs.
So how do we explain the measly completion rate?
One reason is there are a lot of “hyper-buyers” out there who love to whip out their credit cards and buy something.
It gives them a rush, a hit of dopamine that then wears off (until they find where to get the next hit).
But I think the biggest reason has to do with the DIY nature of online programs.
People consume the content, but don’t get anything in way of support as they’re going through it.
So they get stuck, frustrated, and finally say “To heck with this”.
They don’t have anybody holding their hand (figuratively speaking).
Anyways, if you have a program that people actually finish, and they get results from, you should become a Coaching Jungle VIP …
